Watch: ‘Tell Me Lies’ Star Jackson White Teases “Juicy” Season 2 Finale (Exclusive)

Are the lies finally catching up?

Ahead of Tell Me Lies' season two finale, dropping Oct. 16, actor Jackson White—who portrays villain Stephen DeMarco in the Hulu series alongside Grace Van Patten's Lucy Albright—teased its dramatic conclusion.

"It's like reality TV. It's juicy, it's relentless," Jackson exclusively told E! News' Will Marfuggi. "It wraps up some things, it also leaves a lot open-ended. It's well-crafted." (For more with Jackson, watch E! News Oct. 15 at 11 p.m.)

Looking back on season two, during which Stephen and Lucy's dynamic shifted dramatically from enemies to possible lovers once again, Jackson knows it's been a whirlwind.

"We see how the initial toxicity is impacting everyone else in the circle," the 28-year-old, whose character was part of a traumatic season one death, noted. "It's a wild ride."

As for why Jackson and Grace's characters just can't quit each other?

"Because of that chemistry," he told E!, "they're vibing."

"People would describe it different ways," he added. "But I just think they're mistaking lightning bolts for compatibility. They're experiencing that really exciting thing you get when you're in young love but mistaking that for healthy and it's really just toxic and wild."

As for Jackson and Grace, who started dating IRL after meeting during the show's audition process, they don't let the storylines carry over into their romance.

"We totally understand it's a job," Jackson explained. "I don't think anyone's mistaking anything we're doing on camera for real. Or I try not to, if I did that I'd be in a lot of trouble. We're pretty good. We're really commutative and nice."

Jackson, the son of actress Katey Sagal and the late Jack White, also addressed whether fans will see his mom reprise her role in Tell Me Lies.

"I hope so," he said. "That'd be really cool. I've requested it."

Tell Me Lies' season two finale will begin streaming on Hulu Oct. 16.
