Holding a diamond is nothing new for Jennifer Tilly.
In fact, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' newest cast member shared some surprising insight into her impressive financial standings during the Bravo series' Dec. 3 episode.
"My ex-husband was Sam Simon, who created The Simpsons," the Chucky actress explained in a confessional. "I was married to him for seven years and we were together for about 10 years. And then, when we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement, and nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years."
Tilly, who divorced Simon in 1991 nearly two decades before his 2015 death, added of the ongoing royalties, "So every day, honestly, every day I'm like, 'Thank you, Sam!'"
The 66-year-old previously shared during a 2021 appearance on Los Angeles Magazine's The Originals podcast that her portion of Simon's residuals amounted to around one-third of his ongoing earnings from The Simpsons.
And while the Oscar nominee's hefty wealth might be a surprise to some Bravo fans, costar Erika Jayne instantly clocked her extremely rare, $33,000 Louis Vuitton boat purse at another point in the episode.
"What Jennifer's holding, that looks like a boat, isn't. It's actually art," the "Pretty Mess" singer noted in a confessional. "And it's actually very pricey. She has very unique pieces. And I know, because I'm looking at them. And I'm coveting my neighbor's goods. I'm like, 'Goddamn it.'"
Tilly's revelation came about while the cast was discussing the multiple breakups and divorces currently going down within the friend group: Jayne's very messy divorce from scandal-plagued ex Tom Girardi, Kyle Richards separating from husband of 27 years Mauricio Umansky last year and, most recently, Dorit Kemsley's breakup from estranged husband Paul "PK" Kemsley.
