For the Rinna-Hamlin family, this was one of the biggest days of their lives.
Indeed, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s daughter Amelia Gray, 24, made her debut appearance on the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Oct. 15. For the occasion, she donned two show-stopping looks: a black bedazzled bra with matching briefs with hip cut-outs and silver structural details, and a sheer red long-sleeve minidress with an open back that revealed nothing but a matching red G-string.
And as she crossed the milestone, her mom couldn’t help but note how the moment was more than a decade in the making.
"Your dream since you were about 8 years old was to walk in the @victoriassecret fashion show and yesterday that dream came true!!!!!" the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, wrote in the Oct. 16 post alongside Amelia’s second runway look. "Your hard work and perseverance is unmatched and truly amazing to watch, you set your mind to something and you do it."
Lisa—also mom to Delilah Hamlin, 27—continued, "You do not second-guess yourself. You do not think am I pretty enough? Am I tall enough? etc. etc. etc. you just do it and it is remarkable to watch- you are a master manifester and congratulations to you my love- you did it!!!! So proud of you!"
And she gave her stamp of approval on the bare-back look, resharing an Oct. 15 video from Vogue with their caption, "Let’s hear it for the back of the dress!"
As the Days of Our Lives actress continued to hype up her daughter on social media—resharing several photos and videos of her daughter on her Instagram Story—she also took a moment to clap back at those criticizing her daughter and the other VS models for their outfits.
"People are so pearly-clutchy over the whole Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and sexy poses and things," Lisa emphasized in her Instagram Story. "It's a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's about selling sex. That's the game, guys."
"You should find a way to find your mojo and your sexuality," she continued. "That's what I have to say to all you pearl-clutchers."
