Brooke Shields is having a brat summer.
The Blue Lagoon star made a surprise appearance in her daughter Grier Henchy's July 23 TikTok, which featured the duo twinning in black tops and jeans dancing to Charli XCX's new single "Apple," off her hit album Brat.
The 18-year-old, the youngest of Brooke's two daughters with husband Chris Henchy, captioned her video, "Mom is so julia," a reference to a lyric from Charli's song "360," released in May, which pays tribute to Julia Fox.
One day earlier, Brooke shared a video of herself dancing solo to the same song on her Instagram. "My girls keep telling me it’s a brat summer @charli_xcx," the Endless Love actress captioned her post. "I thought that started when they were born!"
Of course, this isn’t the first time the duo have twinned on TikTok as Brooke previously appeared in Grier’s March 2023 video, which showed the 59-year-old and her daughter lip synching a remix of Nicki Minaj's 2009 track "Itty Bitty Piggy" while sporting burgundy outfits.
They’ve also taking those matching moments to red carpet as they both donned black gowns—with Grier wearing a Richard Tyler dress her mom previously donned in 2006—while at the CNN Heroes: All-Star Tribute event in New York City.
Brooke and her husband, who have been married for more than 23 years, are also parents to daughter Rowan Henchy, 21.
The Suddenly Susan alum and her kids have often offered glimpses into their life on social media, where Brooke faces the challenge of helping her daughters deal with possible negativity online.
"They'll say, ‘Mom, it's amazing how nasty people can be,'" the actress exclusively told E! News in 2022. "That's a moment for a conversation rather than dictating to them."
