Lea Michele is celebrating more than just her birthday.
Five days after sharing she and husband Zandy Reich had welcomed their daughter Emery Sol Reich on Aug. 25, the Glee alum—who is also mom to son Ever, 4—gave a first look at life with her new bundle of joy.
Lea shared a picture to her Instagram Story on Aug. 30 of herself cradling baby Emery while looking at a piece of cake with lit birthday candles and sitting next to her son. While Lea—who celebrated her 38th birthday on Aug. 29—and Ever’s backs are to camera, Emery’s face is obscured with a white heart emoji. The actress wrote on the photo, “This is 38.”
Lea confirmed her and Zandy’s little one arrived Aug. 25, sharing a pic of her family lovingly touching Emery’s tiny leg and writing, "Our hearts are so full.”
And the peek at Emery from Lea’s birthday seems to round out a trio of August birthday celebrations.
The Funny Girl actress, who wed Zandy in 2019, also celebrated Ever’s birthday on Aug. 20, just days before the announcement of his sister’s arrival, writing on Instagram alongside a photo of the two hugging, “Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful boy!”
Back in March, she revealed her family was expanding, sharing a pic of her bump on social media with the caption “Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed.”
In a Mother’s Day post two months later, Lea confirmed the sex of their newest addition by writing, “holding my son who made me a mama…and carrying my daughter."
And when it comes to her experience carrying both of her children, Lea is filled with gratitude.
“At the end of the day, I’m super grateful that with both of my pregnancies,” she told Motherly in an interview published July 25. “I would say overall, I’m so grateful for the energy that I do have, and I really do love being pregnant.”

The actress is first romantically linked to the retail entrepreneur in July 2017. "They have been friends for a while and started dating recently," an insider confirms to E! News.

They've been going through photos and videos and just reaching out to thank everyone that was involved. They were so ecstatic about the entire weekend and just keep talking about how magical and incredible it was."
