Soon, Travis Kelce will also be the guy on the game show.

Because soon enough, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end will step into his role as host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?—Prime Video’s spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?—which premieres Oct. 16.

And in the series’ newly released trailer, Travis shows fans just a little bit of what he’s capable of on, as the 34-year-old describes it, “The game show where people can win ridiculous money just by answering questions about stuff we learned back in elementary school.”

Though, it might be a good thing he is only serving as host. After all, when one contestant notes they “don’t know anything about geography,” Travis quips, “Me neither.”

But thankfully, there are the celebrities upon which contestants can call for help, including stars such as Garcelle Beauvais, Nicole Byer, Nikki Glaser, LaLa Kent and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

“If a player gets stuck on a question,” Travis explains in the trailer, “they can cheat off the celebrities.”

And while hosting a game show may seem like a major departure from Travis’ career in the NFL, it looks like his relationship with Taylor Swift has helped prepare him for this new project: In one scene, Travis begins singing and dancing to the words, “It could be true, or it could be false.”

Travis was first confirmed as host of the new series in April, at which time he shared how much the opportunity meant to him.

"I grew up loving game shows, and I'm excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are you Smarter than a Celebrity?" he shared in a statement at the time. "The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone's favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining."

He added, "I'm just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up."

And though Travis’ ability to help the show’s contestants with their questions is limited in his capacity as host, he does speak to his educational background in the trailer—specifically, studying criminal justice back in college.

“If I’m gonna go to school,” he jokes, “I might as well learn how to not go to jail.”
