Hey Upper East Siders, guess who was paying a visit to your neck of the woods?

It was none other than Gossip Girl himself, Penn Badgley, who hit the red carpet alongside wife Domino Kirke at the Giorgio Armani Women's fashion show and after-party at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City Oct. 17.

Penn, 37, and Domino, 40, both looked incredibly dapper for the event with Penn donning a velvet, navy blue tuxedo jacket and bow tie, while Domino opted for a floor-length black gown with a square-cut neckline.

The evening marked a rare outing for the couple who married in 2017 and are parents to a 4-year-old boy. And when it comes to being a dad, the You star—who is also stepdad to Domino's 15-year-old son Cassius with ex Morgan O'Kane—has been candid about what it's like navigating fathering in a blended family, explaining that he plays "two different kinds of parental roles."

"I have an interesting situation where I have a biological son and a stepson," Penn shared on the New York Times' Modern Love podcast in March. "And my stepson is—his father is very much in his life, so his father is his father, and I'm something else."

He also noted that since the boys have a large age gap, his approach to parenting differs, especially as he tries to show his younger son a softer side of himself, saying he's "going to need to be able to more consciously show him my vulnerability as he gets older in those years."

The Easy A star has also discussed before how much he appreciates the fact that he got to experience so much of his career before being married and having a child, especially because those two events shifted his mindset on his career.

"I did most of that without any kids or spouse, you know? Or any real consideration for family—and now all that's very different," he told Variety in 2023. "And I didn't do it with anything other than the pipe dreams of being a producer or a director or writer."

He added, "If this is how I'm going to exist in a way that for me is sustainable—emotionally and spiritually and psychologically—then this is how I'm gonna do it."
