Best believe they showed up looking boo-jeweled.
Indeed, our favorite morning talk show hosts like Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Kelly Clarkson and more have once again slayed their Halloween looks.
On Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos channeled their favorite celebrity couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, for their annual Halloween special. The duo perfectly replicated Taylor and Travis’ U.S. Open date night look, down to the Gucci bucket hat and the “Cruel Summer” singer’s iconic red lipstick shade. And while Kelly perfectly rocked Taylor's ensemble, she was a bit hesitant about emulating the pop superstar.
"I've known Taylor Swift since she was a young teenager and first appeared on our show many, many, many years ago," the 54-year-old recently told USA Today. "She's been on our show many times, and in every era of her life. She is just as charming and divine and delightful, and all of the things that you think she is for all of these years."
"Nobody gives less Taylor vibes than me," she continued. "I can't capture the essence of that in a very brief clip of her dancing at the U.S. Open, but I did my best to at least not embarrass her on behalf of both of us."
But Kelly and her husband of 27 years didn’t stop there. The couple also suited up as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’s Lady Deadpool and Deadpool, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Today hosts wouldn’t dare enter Studio 1A without show-stopping costumes of their own inspired by cult-favorite movies. Hoda made sure her heart will go on for her last Halloween on set, when she and Jenna Bush Hager dressed as Titanic’s Jack and Rose. As Jenna explained on their inspiration to Today.com, “This movie is the most iconic of that time.”
Craig Melvin arrived in a 1972 Chevy Nova as Officer Axel F. Foley from Beverly Hills Cop and Peter Alexander put on his pantyhose for his look as Mrs. Doubtfire.
However, other hosts had help from OG stars, like Savannah, who had Luke Wilson make a cameo for her Elle Woods costume. She gushed, “The fact that Luke came to be my Emmett is just a next level dream come true.”
As for Kelly? Well, we’re doing a double take after seeing her arrive on set as Beetlejuice.
See for yourself below, where all the haunting costumes await…
