Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion's wedding is slowly taking shape.
As the Gen V alum exclusively admitted to E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi at GQ's Men of the Year party Nov. 14, the couple—who got engaged last December after seven years together—is a bit "behind" schedule when it comes to planning their upcoming nuptials.
The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver—who donned a brown suede suit over a tank top that he accessorized with western-style belt and a cowboy hat—also confessed that it was his fiancée who picked out his stylish outfit for the star-studded event.
In fact, Patrick joked that he and Abby are running so late on planning their big day that his could just make things easier for himself and rewear the ensemble for his wedding.
"Maybe I'll just wear this," he laughed, "and we'll call it a day." (For more with Patrick, tune into E! News Monday, Nov. 18 at 11 p.m.)
It’s no surprise that wedding planning has taken a backseat as Patrick has kept busy. And the 31-year-old is also poised for a big year in 2025, when he'll appear in the highly-anticipated third season of HBO's The White Lotus, which wrapped filming in Thailand earlier this year.
"It was a dream come true," Patrick gushed of working on season three, which will also star Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb and Carrie Coon. "To work with [creator] Mike White and just to be a part of this project was a dream come true."
"It was surreal," he went on. "It was life-changing to learn amongst the other actors. It was incredible. I can’t wait for it to come out."
But as for whether shooting for the series was the highlight of his year, he hesitated to consider when he proposed to Abby before marveling at his year-plus of major highlights.
"I got engaged right before [2024], so I can say that this was [the highlight]," Patrick said. "Yeah, [the highlight of my] 2024 was White Lotus."
Back in August, the Staircase alum shared a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming season and opened up about what it was like filming the show.
"That’s a wrap on White Lotus season 3. What an experience!" he wrote on Instagram. "6.5 months in Thailand. What an honor It was to work & learn from some of the most talented actors in the world. You all made this project a lifetime of memories."
Still, the actor added that he was "missing my family & fiancé because it was 25 hour away!" But he couldn’t help but pay a heartfelt tribute to the show's Emmy-winning creator and share what the experience meant to him
"To Mike White - You are a genius," Patrick gushed. "Thank you for bringing me along this journey. Watching you write, direct, produce and create this insane world is truly inspiring. I feel so lucky to of been apart of It! Thanks for making a kids dream come true."
