Jennifer Turpin is celebrating a milestone.
Jennifer—who escaped from her parents' "House of Horror" in 2018—shared that she married husband Aron at the Miller Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. on Oct. 27.
The eldest of the Turpin family siblings posted a look at her special day to Instagram Nov. 3, writing, "I am so blessed to find the most amazing guy. He is everything I've wanted plus more."
The couple's outdoor ceremony included plenty of Gothic touches, like a black and white wedding cake, napkins that featured a skeletal couple with the phrase "Till Death Do Us Part," wedding rings in a small coffin box and even some Halloween decor.
Jennifer opted for an off-the-shoulder wedding gown covered in black lace, which she paired with a black and white floral headpiece, a contrasting lace crown and a black and white floral bouquet.
The bride was also joined by her 11 brothers and sisters for the big day, although she shared in an Instagram comment that she chose not to post too much about them "out of respect/privacy." (She has also chosen to keep Aron's last name private.)
And of course, her many followers were thrilled that Jennifer has found her happily ever after.
"Your smile!!" one user wrote in the comments. "I love this and I am so happy for you!!"
Another added, "I have followed your story since day one i am so happy you're getting your happily ever after."
And one follower was delighted she got to spend the day with her family, writing, "Happiness always to you."
Following the wedding, Jennifer and Aron jetted off to Hawaii for their honeymoon to go island hopping from Oahu to Maui to Kauai. In a video shared Nov. 17, Jennifer wrote that she got to catch up with one of her sisters and her girlfriend while visiting Oahu, adding, "We had a blast!"
Jennifer and her siblings made headlines in 2018 when her sister Jordan Turpin snuck out of parents David Turpin and Louise Turpin's home in Perris, Calif. and used a cellphone she'd taken from the house to call 911. The call led police to rescuing her siblings, who were living in dire conditions inside the house, according to NBC News.
The 12 siblings were severely abused, with several of them bound with chains and padlocks, while others were starving, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department shared at the time.
Parents David and Louise pled guilty to 14 counts each of torture, dependent adult abuse, child endangerment and false imprisonment in 2019 and were sentenced to life in prison in April of that year, according to NBC News.
Over the years, Jennifer and Jordan have been candid about the scary experience, detailing their story in the 2021 ABC special Escape from a House of Horror, where they also confirmed that the siblings have remained incredibly close.
"Every time we're together, it's a very special moment," Jordan said. "We always know at the end of the day, we're always gonna have each other."
