Jin is feeling dynamite over his recent success.

Indeed, the BTS singer recently shared his excitement toward his debut solo project, Happy, dropping Nov. 15.

“This is Jin,” the 31-year-old began in an exclusive video for E! News. “I really enjoyed performing ‘Running Wild’ from my solo album Happy on the Tonight Show. I hope you enjoyed it too. Thank you. Bye, bye.”

Indeed, Jin—who makes up the K-Pop band with Jung-kook, V, Jimin, Suga, RM and J-hope—appeared on The Tonight Show Nov. 20 and discussed returning to music after completing South Korea’s mandatory military service with Jimmy Fallon, including having his bandmates greet him following his return.

“At that time it was very hectic,” Jin explained in Korean, which was translated to English on the show. “Because it was immediately after my discharge.”

He also explained why RM was photographed playing a saxophone to greet him.

“I’m not exactly sure what RM was doing,” Jin admitted. “But he was playing something for me. I didn’t even know he was there.”

And while he held back his excitement on seeing his bandmates, Jin emphasized how pleased he is to be able to reconnect with his fans—known as ARMY—for this album, which he described as his most “personal” project yet.

“For a year and a half, I had limited opportunities to see my fans,” he explained, detailing the meaning behind his song, “I Will Come To You,” inspired by his military hiatus. “This song captures how much I missed them during that time.”

Jin added in English, “I love you, Army!”

The Army clearly loves him right back. As the “I’ll Be There” singer also revealed the backstory behind his viral “Worldwide Handsome” nickname, fans in the audience couldn’t contain their cheers.

“Because I’m so handsome I gave it to myself,” Jin joked. “I think it expresses me the best.”
