He likes it, he loves it—but he left his cowboy hat at home this time!
Tim McGraw made a rare public appearance without his signature cowboy hat and showed off his cropped brunette locks.
The "Something Like That" singer stepped out with wife Faith Hill for the Beatles '64 documentary premiere in New York City Nov. 24 wearing a mauve turtleneck, black slacks and boots. His usual headwear absent, he instead sported a salt-and-pepper beard as he posed alongside the "This Kiss" hitmaker on the red carpet.
Faith opted for a black blazer, white button-down shirt and wide-legged jeans. She wore her shoulder-length hair in natural curls and flashed her thousand-watt smile for photographers.
The couple—who share daughters Gracie, 27, Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 22—had previously stepped out the week prior for opening night of the new play Babe, where Tim chatted up fellow attendees without his cowboy hat on.
Tim and Faith's dual outings in NYC come a month after they celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary.
The country superstars aren't shy about sharing their love for one another publicly throughout their marriage, and last year Tim got real about the impact that Faith has had on his life.
"I guarantee you, had I not gotten married to Faith at 29 years old, A, I probably would've ran my career into the ground," he told Zane Lowe in August 2023, "and B—well, I would've died or ran my career into the ground, one or the other, and it wouldn't have ever been where it's at now."
The 57-year-old—who has been open about his battle with alcohol and has been sober since 2008—gave credit to his wife, also 57, for pushing him to make a much needed change in his life for the sake of their family.
"She put up with it for a while because I was pretty sneaky about it for a while," he explained. "But it was just overdoing stuff…I think when the kids got old enough that they could notice things is when she finally said, 'You've got to figure this out.'"
Ultimately, Tim expressed his contentment with the family life that he's built with Faith outside of their decades of fame and success.
"We have a confidence in our life. We have a confidence in our foundation," he said. "All of this could go away and we're perfectly happy with the five of us."
