Saoirse Ronan is gearing up for the holidays as a newlywed.
The Lady Bird actress shared how she and husband of four months Jack Lowden plan on celebrating this year, which will certainly include Saoirse showing off one of her best skills.
"I'm an excellent gift giver," she exclusively told E! News on the red carpet at The Gothams 34thAnnual Film Awards Dec. 2, "because I enjoy the act of giving a gift."
The 30-year-old—who looked stunning in a fitted, brown Schiaparelli dress with 3D appliqués and a flower on the neckline—confessed that while "everyone has their own love language," giving gifts isn't necessarily the only one she uses.
However, she did add, "I do enjoy showing love in that way." (For more from Saoirse and the rest of the stars at The Gothams, tune into E! News tonight, Dec. 2, at 11 p.m.)
And when it comes to a gift for Jack, 34, Saoirse knows exactly what he'll be hoping for this year.
"Jack's really obsessed with yule logs," she explained. "Just got obsessive about it a couple years ago.
The Little Women star joked, "It'll be like, ‘OK, let's go out and get you a log.'"
And knowing exactly what your partner might like has come easily for Saoirse and Jack, who tied the knot during a private ceremony in July after meeting on the set of 2018's Mary Queen of Scots. As the Oscar nominee previously explained, she and the Dunkirk star find ways to compliment each other's personalities, especially when it came to co-producing The Outrun, in which Saoirse starred.
"Jack is a lot calmer than I am. He's my voice of reason," she told USA Today in October. "But as a duo, we've both been on film sets our whole lives, so we have an appreciation of what we're asking actors to do. We always want them to feel safe."
While they've enjoyed working together behind the scenes, Saoirse is hopeful the couple will act together again in the future
"Jack didn't want to for a long time," she admitted, "but I've now convinced him that's a great idea. I'd really like to do something together on stage."
