Grammys 2025: See Blue Ivy Remind Shocked Beyoncé to Accept Her Award for Best Country Album

No one looked more shocked than Beyoncé when she won Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammys, while the look on daughter Blue Ivy Carter's face read, "Um, Mom, what are you waiting for?"

Watch: 2025 Grammys: See Blue Ivy Remind Shocked Beyonce to Accept Her Award

These are the moments Grammy dreams are made of.

But perhaps not even in her wildest dreams did Beyoncé think she would hear presenter Taylor Swift say her name when the award for Best Country Album was handed out. (Fifteen years after Taylor got the honor for Fearless, incidentally.)

That's what happened, though, and—even though she led the entire field heading into the Feb. 2 ceremony at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena with 11 nominationsno one looked more surprised than Beyoncé herself to have outridden the likes of Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton and Lainie Wilson in her category. (See the full list of winners at the 2025 Grammys.)

But you know who knew that Bey had it in the bag all along?

Or at least Blue Ivy Carter wasn't quite so stunned, as she quickly flashed her mother an, "Um, Mom, what are you waiting for, get up" look.

Once again attending the Grammys with her mom and dad Jay-Z, did we mention that the 13-year-old looked so grown-up?

After getting that dagger-eyed encouragement, plus hugs from her firstborn and her husband, Beyoncé headed to the stage to accept her record 34th Grammy (including her three with Destiny's Child), having also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus earlier in the evening. (And Blue Ivy just went ahead and joined her onstage when Beyoncé won her 35th Grammy—Album of the Year, finally—at the end of the night.)

"Wow, I really was not expecting this," the 43-year-old said, hours after announcing that the Cowboy Carter Tour is happening. "Wow."

Hold for applause, hoots and hollers.

She continued, the look of surprise coming and going across her face like a wave, "I want to thank God—oh my God!—that I'm able to still do what I love after so many years. Oh, my God!"

"I'd like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album," Beyoncé continued. "We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they're passionate about, and to stay persistent. Wow! I'd like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators, thank you, this wouldn't have been this album without you."

And, she concluded, "I still am in shock, so thank you so much for this honor."

No need for a wrap-it-up-mom look from a certain teen in the audience.
