Brian Austin Green is standing by Megan Fox.
Nearly two months after the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum slammed the pregnant Transformers actress’ ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly for his behavior amid the breakup, he has another message for the musician.
“Bro,” Brian, who was married to Megan for 10 years, began in his now-deleted Feb. 2 Instagram Stories. “Just be honest for once in your life. Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people.”
Alongside the note, the 51-year-old—who shares kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with his ex—shared the rapper’s song “don’t let me go.”
Megan, 38, and MGK, 34, confirmed they were expecting a baby together in November, with news of their breakup coming just one month later. And at the time, Brian had some stern words for the “My Ex's Best Friend” singer.
“He’s in his 30s, isn’t he?” Brian said of MGK to TMZ in December. “In your 30s, f--k. Grow up. Like, she’s pregnant.”
Although he had a hostile response to the news, the Knots Landing actor—who is also dad to his and fiancée Sharna Burgess’s 2-year-old son Zane as well as 22-year-old Kassius with Vanessa Marcil—shared insight into his feelings surrounding the breakup.
“I just want the best for her,” he explained. “I’m heartbroken about it because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”
In fact, he emphasized that he hopes for “the best outcome that could possibly happen” amid this chapter of Megan’s life.
While the Jennifer’s Body star and the “Lonely Road” musician have remained quiet following the news, MGK seemingly addressed the notion that sources reported to TMZ that he and Megan weren’t on speaking terms. In a Jan. 28 Instagram post, he simply wrote, “how can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything.”
Nevertheless, it had been a complicated time for Megan, who shared in 2023 that she and MGK had suffered a miscarriage.
“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being, and I’ve really analyzed ‘why was that? Why was that so difficult for me?’” she explained to WWD. “Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, I’ve had other things that I’m not going to say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar. But I’ve been through other similar issues, but not with someone who I was so in love with.”
She was grateful to have him by her side but admitted that it also added to her pain.
Megan explained, “That love element really made this miscarriage really tragic for me and left me with a lot of grief and a lot of suffering.”
