Teddi Mellencamp continues to share the realities of her cancer battle.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum defended her decision to share some of the ways that she's been find some normalcy and escapism as she gets treated for the multiple tumors in her brain and lungs.
"I know I speak a lot about the fun and amazing things that I've been doing since all the tumors, and I have been doing them and it's been my way of peace, coping, finding happiness," Teddi said on her Instagram Stories March 15, "but I also wanted to send a reminder and a gentle, like, ‘I feel you,’ if you’re going through this, going through a hard time, that is also normal."
The 43-year-old also proved that she's also sharing the lows that come along with her health battle.
"We all find our new normal," Teddi explained, "and we do that best that we can to feel as good as we can in that moment, and then, you know, some nights are really hard. And tonight's one of them."
In a follow-up post, the Two T's in a Pod cohost—who shares kids Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5, with ex Edwin Arroyave—shared another health update with her followers, revealing that she was set to start a week of radiation on March 17. She also noted that "immunotherapy kind of kicks your butt."
"Always trying to find a bit of the positive," Teddi said. "Apparently the more that immunotherapy kicks your butt, the more it's working, that's what I'm told. That's why I can only do the immunotherapy every three weeks, whereas my radiation, for example, that I start on Monday, I do for a week straight."
The All In With Teddi founder—who was wearing a baseball hat over a blonde wig in the clips—also addressed speculation over her decision to occasionally wear a wig as she goes through treatment.
"I've been getting a lot of questions about why I wear a wig. They're like, 'Why not rock the shaved head?'" Teddi shared. "And, guys, sometimes I do! But yesterday I didn't wear a wig in the afternoon and, I have to be honest, I felt a little insecure, so I'm going to do what makes me feel the best."
