Gypsy Rose Blanchard needs somebody to match her freak.
Since the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star rekindled her romance with Ken Urker—with whom she was formerly engaged in 2018, but split in 2019—last April, she admitted that their sex life hasn’t been quite the same.
“Our first weekend that we reconnected, it was like a flood gate,” Gypsy—who was released from prison in December, where she served seven years for her role in the murder of her mom Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard—said on an April 7 episode of Life After Lock Up. “And naturally, now there are times that I think is harder because of schedules and business and work and, like, I want that back for us.”
To aid in bringing a bit of excitement back into their relationship after welcoming their first baby, a daughter named Aurora, in December, the 33-year-old was shown browsing items—including a pair of fluffy handcuffs—in an adult boutique.
“We had a lot of this stuff before I got pregnant,” she said. “Some of the stuff we haven't even used yet.”
As for why some of these products have remained hidden in their nightstand? Well, Gypsy told the store owner that she didn’t think Ken had ever tried using one before.
“I'm the most adventurous girlfriend that he's had,” she admitted on the Lifetime show, “so I'm the freak.”
But since the pair decided to give their relationship a second chance, shortly after Gypsy filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson in April 2024, she expressed that she wanted to take things a bit more slowly this time around.
“When we reconnected, it was the hormones,” Gypsy said of Ken on the March 17 episode of Life After Lock Up. “The hormones made me move so fast. Do I regret it? I don't regret the choices I've made with him. What I regret is how I went about it.”
“I wouldn't take it back,” she added, “but I wish it would have been different for Ryan’s sake. People got hurt, and I recognize that a lot more now. The last thing I want to do is make another hasty decision.”
And when it comes to marriage, noting that Ken “hasn’t hinted around to proposing,” Gypsy made it clear that they are in no rush.
“He's just making big statements of love,” she explained in the episode, which was filmed last year. “And with an upcoming baby, with my divorce about to be finalized, that's when we move into unknown territory that I am free. I'm not married to Ryan anymore. I'm not held down by that. Anything can happen.”
