Machine Gun Kelly is growing his family again—but not in the way you’d expect.
Indeed, the “Lonely Road” musician—who welcomed a baby girl with ex Megan Fox in March—revealed his latest “new addition to my house.” But this time, he’ll have to deal with a bit of clucking instead of crying.
“Me and my chickens,” MGK said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories April 9, before turning to a coop full of chickens to add, “What’s up guys and girls?”
And moments later, it seems even artificial intelligence played a part in celebrating the 34-year-old’s new journey as a chicken parent.
“Oh hell no,” MGK wrote over a fabricated photo of himself holding a chicken while dressed in a straw hat and overalls, “A.I. is getting cocky.”
The beginning of the “my ex’s best friend” singer’s farmer era comes one day after he shared insight into his actual fatherhood journey. Among a carousel of photos posted to his Instagram April 8, MGK included a mirror selfie of himself giving a piggyback ride to his 15-year-old daughter Casie—who he shares with ex Emma Canon—while she flashed a peace sign to the camera.
And while he captioned the post, “dad,” his newborn was noticeably absent from the photo dump. After all, he and Megan—who called off their two-year engagement in December—have opted to keep their daughter out of the spotlight for the time being.
But after the “Emo Girl” singer announced the March 27 arrival of their daughter by referring to her as “our little celestial seed,” alongside a video of her little hand in his, some fans mistook the sweet statement as a name reveal. In reality, the couple decided to keep that detail to themselves.
“Wait guys,” MGK wrote in an Instagram Story a few days later, “her name isn’t Celestial Seed. Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”
In the meantime, MGK has shared that his pal Travis Barker played a special part in their baby’s birth by composing a custom musical score for the special moment. And the “Bad Things” singer hasn’t been shy in the past when it comes to sharing his hopes and dreams for his relationship with his eldest.
“As much as a f--k up people say I am, I pray that I have the connection I didn’t have with my parents with my kid,” he shared on the “Life Lessons” YouTube series in 2015. “When I’m with her, nothing else matters.”
Because in the end, he just wants to see his daughters flourish and thrive as they grow older.
"I was just walking behind my daughter in the airport the other day and she just has this walk, it's this pure bounce, she's so excited for life like she's so young in her life," he told host Drew Barrymore in a 2021 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. "I just pray to every God that exists that she just keeps that bounce forever and that no one interferes with that."

"I knew when they were very young, I wanted to try to protect them however I could, especially limiting their exposure to the internet," she told Glamour UK in 2022. "So far, we’ve done a really good job and we maintain their innocence in a lot of ways, but I know I can’t protect them forever."

Brian's golden rule for co-parenting? Picking his battles. "People make a mistake of thinking that they're gonna do things so the separation doesn't affect the kids," he told E! News in 2024. "Of course it's gonna affect the kids. The only choice you have is how it affects the kids."

Likewise, Megan makes a point not to speak ill of her kids' father around them. "I don't let anything in my energy like that when I'm around my kids," she said on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2023, "because if I don't accept and love their father, I'm rejecting a part of them, because he's a part of who they are always.

"That was step one for me," the musician, who has been sober since August 2023, said on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. "As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid."

Sharna has thanked Brian's kids for preparing her to be a mom. "I got to test out motherhood with these guys," she said on the Quite Frankly podcast in 2023. "I got to learn things and grow with them, about parenting and understanding kids ... and knowing, 'Oh my God, I think I can be really good at that.'"

While Brian revealed he got a vasectomy eight weeks after Zane was born, that doesn't mean he couldn't have it reversed down the road. "If we have the space and the ability to, would we love to? I certainly would," Sharna said on the Oldish podcast in January. "But we do have four young kids in the home and life is very, very busy."
The Family Grows Again
On March 27, 2025, Megan and MGK welcomed the newest member of their blended family: a baby girl, who arrived into the world with her own original score composed by the rocker and his musical pals including Travis Barker.
