Watch: Scott Wolf Granted Temporary Custody, Restraining Order Against Estranged Wife Kelley Wolf

Scott Wolf is taking legal action amid his divorce from Kelley Wolf

Less than a month after the Party of Five alum shared he was divorcing his estranged wife after 21 years of marriage, a judge has granted him temporary custody of the couple's three kids Jackson, 16, Miller, 12 and Lucy, 11, as well as a restraining order.

In the June 26 ruling, filed in Utah and obtained by Today.com, Judge Richard Mrazi said Kelley “has been engaged in an escalating pattern of behavior that poses a substantial threat of immediate and irreparable harm to the party's minor children.”

Indeed, the judge further noted that Kelley has made “threats to remove the party's minor children from the country” and said that the 48-year-old’s recent behavior was “sufficient” for her "to be detained by law enforcement and subsequently placed on an involuntary psychiatric commitment.”

E! News has reached out to reps for Scott and Kelley for comment but has not yet heard back.

Scott Wolf's Ex Kelley Wolf Says She Was Placed Under "Involuntary" Psychiatric Hold

The filing comes just days after Kelley spoke out about being placed on an “involuntary psychiatric hold,” referencing a 5150, an order in California that allows a person to be placed under involuntary psychiatric evaluation for up to 72 hours if they appear to be a danger to themselves or others. (Despite being specific to California, 5150 has come to be more broadly used to refer to involuntary psychiatric holds.)

“No mental illness. No addictions,” Kelley, who later clarified she was detained in Utah, wrote in a since-deleted June 23 Instagram post, per People. “Just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150 and went on a 1st DATE 2-night. So nervous! OMG!”

Elsewhere in her post, Kelley explained that she had been with her 11-year-old daughter leading up to the psychiatric evaluation.

“Hours later, I was handcuffed by police in MY fav place, and involuntarily detained in a facility that looked more like a prison than a hospital,” she continued. “No clock. No phone. No sunlight.”

While the professional life coach did not name the person who had her detained, she clarified it was not her dad or ex, but rather a “so-called friend.”

“They tried to medicate me—lithium, Seroquel, Xanax,” she recalled of her hospital stay. “I ‘politely’ declined. I meditated. I breathed. I did the very things I’ve spent years teaching others to do.”

Following her psychiatric hold, Kelley also alleged she was having trouble getting in touch with her family

“Can’t get a hold of the fam!” Kelley wrote in another June 23 Instagram post. “They sound like they’re having a great time on their vacation in Cape Cod? It must be nice to go on a vacation instead of a involuntary hold and your rights taken away from you. But hey, I’m feeling pretty great!”

For Scott’s part, he has maintained a low profile since confirming he had filed for divorce from Kelley on June 10, telling People in a statement, “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter."
