Hilary Swank’s toughest opponent yet? A travel day with her toddlers.
The Million Dollar Baby actress—who shares 2-year-old twins Aya and Ohm with husband Philip Schneider—gave fans a rare look at one of her kids during a family trip.
Hilary shared a photo to her Instagram Stories August 7 that showed the "reality of traveling with twin toddlers,” as she put it. In the relatable snap, the actress was seen pushing a rolling suitcase through an airport as one of her twins sat on top of it and adorably held onto its handles.
The 51-year-old was wearing tan wide-legged pants and a blue tee with a big diaper backpack strapped to her back, while her kid wore a baby blue tee and stripped pants with pink socks and shoes.
Though she tagged all her travel must-haves—including Shay Mitchell’s Beis and Jessica Alba’s Honest Company—she noted, “cutest co-pilot (not for sale).”
While Hilary rarely shares pictures of her children, she has given peeks inside her world, including opening up about how freezing her eggs a decade prior took "some of the pressure off" and allowed her to become a mom in her late 40s.
“I would have had kids earlier,” she told Women’s Health in April. “I’m not saying I actively waited until 47. But that was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated. It was the right time for a myriad of reasons.”
The Boys Don't Cry star explained that she thinks she's parenting differently now than she would've if she'd become a mother when she was younger.
“I’m a very different parent than I would’ve been, even in my early 40s,” Hilary mused. “I’m much more patient. I’m much more understanding. I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would’ve been.”
She also expressed that, because she has been working for so long, she's been able to take the time to devote herself fully to raising her children without being spread too thin.
“I’m really interested in their brains," Hilary shared. "I’m fascinated about what makes them tick. And I have my career that’s already established, so I’m not divided. I’m able to really sink in and be present with them and be a hands-on parent."

After revealing Aya and Ohm's names, Hilary explained that her daughter was named for "a Syrian refugee we met in Lebanon, so she was just this courageous brave young girl full of light going through a really difficult time."
As for son Ohm, his moniker is "considered the first universal sound and unites all people. We thought, 'Oh, that sounds very fitting.'"
