Watch: Did Megan Fox Receive Credit on Ex Machine Gun Kelly's Lost Americana Album? The Truth

Megan Fox is transforming her résumé.

After all, the Jennifer's Body star can now add musical writer and composer after Machine Gun Kelly dropped his new album Lost Americana.

Indeed, Megan was given the impressive credits on her ex-fiancé's song "orpheus," the 13th track on the Aug. 8 project, according to Spotify and Genius.

The heartbreaking ballad follows the tragic story of Orpheus—considered one of the saddest Greek mythological legends—as he travels to the underworld to bring back his wife Eurydice after she dies.

A story of patience, Hades and Persephone agree to let his love return with him if he does not look at her until they are topside. However, a doubtful Orpheus eventually looks back at her too soon and loses Eurydice forever.

"I'll find Hell to be trapped into," MGK sings. "To get back to you / Just for this moment, can I hold you? / Feel your heartbeat 'til it fades / And in this moment, it's me and you only / I will love you for all my days."

Just like Orpheus, the musician noted that despite being "shipwrecked," he will find his way to his love. The musician—who shares 4-month-old daughter Saga Blade with Megan—adds, "Gravity's pull was never stronger / Than my soul's cord attached to you / I'm lost, but my heart's got the map to you."

E! News has reached out to reps of Megan and MGK for comment and has not yet heard back.

This isn't the first time Megan—who split from MGK (real name Colson Barker) in December, one month after confirming her pregnancy—has alluded to the tragic story in her work. In fact, she wrote the poem "Prove it, Orpheus" in her 2023 book Pretty Boys are Poisonous, which fans speculated was about the rapper.

"When they ask you / who was your great love," the poem reads, "don't whisper my name / scream it / and when they ask you / what is your biggest regret / don't write it in a song / cut yourself open and write it in blood."

For the Transformers actress—who also shares three kids with ex-husband Brian Austin Green—writing was a necessary outlet amid her mental health journey.

"I knew that I always had to put it out," she told Women's Wear Daily in November 2023. "One of my strengths is my spiritual foundation, or the way that I process things and my mindset, and I feel like, of all the things I could offer people through the platform that is celebrity, that would be my best offering."

Although Megan and MGK called it quits, they've been navigating their professional and personal relationship with care. Keep reading for a look back at their romance.
