But when she’s not breaking ground on set, Anne has been joined by her groundbreaking former costars Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt as they’ve filmed the sequel across New York City throughout the summer.

The second installment of the film sees Streep’s Miranda Priestly struggle with the decline of traditional magazine publishing. Her one salvation, however, might just lie with Emily’s character Emily Charlton, who has gone from an assistant scorned to an advertising powerhouse—one with a long memory.

Newcomers to the franchise include stars such as Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux as well as BJ Novak. Other new faces include Broadway’s Helen J. Shen and comedian Caleb Hearon.

While the details around where Andrea finds herself in the sequel remain under wraps, Anne previously mused about how the assistant faired after the original movie ended.

“I think that she is writing for a wonderful French women's magazine,” the Les Miserables actress told E! News in 2022. “I think she's a staff writer and she speaks French fluently. I don't think she's married, but she might have a child or two. I think she's pretty fab."
