Kate Middleton is living her life like it’s golden.
After all, the Princess of Wales is embracing being a caramel blonde. As she and husband Prince William—who share kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7—return to their royal duties in England, she confirmed that the light hue is here to stay.
Indeed, the 43-year-old sported her blonde hair as the couple visited the Natural History Museum in London on Sept. 4. And while the color is new territory for her, Kate styled the ends in her signature waves. She also matched her new ‘do to her fall-inspired outfit, wearing a neutral-toned blazer over a white button down, black pants and khaki-brown flats.
Meanwhile, William, 43, opted for a darker look, layering a black coat over his blue top and slacks combo.
Kate’s latest outing comes days after she debuted her caramel blonde transformation last month. At the time, the royal was spotted riding in the car as her family made their way to a church service in Scotland, her golden hair shining through the passenger window.
And when she isn’t turning heads with her new ‘do, she’s encouraging everyone to have at least one bubblegum pink item in their closet. Indeed, Kate sported a stunning all-pink skirt suit when she and her husband visited French President Emmanuel Macron in the U.K. on July 8. Elevating the look with a bow-adorned fascinator hat, she also wore pearls, a pale-toned clutch and nude heels.
Though the royal is known for her gorgeous style—and now, her bold hair transformation—the Kensington Palace recently had to clarify comments that her clothes were overshadowing her philanthropic efforts.
“Over the last week, I have received numerous questions about a story regarding The Princess of Wales’s clothing and how Kensington Palace shares information about her outfits,” a palace representative said in a statement to E! News in February. “To be clear, there has been no change in our approach to sharing information about Her Royal Highness’s clothing.”
