Sharon Osbourne is finding joy where she can.
Less than two months after the death of her husband Ozzy Osbourne from a heart attack at the age of 76, the former music agent shared a look at her life and how she’s discovered a new passion thanks to daughter Kelly Osbourne.
“Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it!” Kelly posted on Instagram Sept. 11. “Thank you @gerardsulter for putting a smile on my mum’s face too!”
In the video—which Sharon, 72, reshared on her Instagram Story—the mother-daughter duo paid a visit to the Cornwall Falconry farm in England to interact with birds of prey, including one large owl that spent a few minutes on Kelly’s head before flying over to Sharon.
Kelly instructed, “Mum, put your hand out.”
And once the bird flew over to Sharon, she gave her new flying friend a few pets, as she told the owl, “I don’t have anything to give you.”
While Sharon—who also shared children Aimee Osbourne, 41, and Jack Osbourne, 39, with Ozzy—has kept her grieving process private, Kelly has been more candid about what a difficult journey she’s been on since her father’s death.
“Grief is a strange thing,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Aug. 4. “It sneaks up on you in waves—I will not be ok for a while—but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”
The 40-year-old—who shares son Sidney, 3, with fiancé Sid Wilson—added that she had “sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough.”
Kelly also thanked Ozzy’s fans, saying, “The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.”
As for Sharon, The Osbournes alum opened up about Ozzy’s legacy shortly before his passing, sharing how proud she was of his July 5 “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert.
“I never wanted Ozzy to just disappear without some big event,” she told Pollstar July 17. “And it’s the best way then to go home to where it all started, to go to his favorite stadium in the world (Villa Park), which is [home to] his beloved Aston Villa (soccer) team, and it was just perfect.”
And the reaction to the event left Ozzy speechless.
“He turned around and he said to me that night, he said, ‘I had no idea that so many people liked me,’” Sharon recalled. “Ozzy’s always been in his own bubble.”
