Kate Gosselin’s boys have grown into men.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum offered a rare glimpse at two of her sons with ex-husband Jon Gosselin during a visit they paid her before she embarks on a road trip with her dogs Meika and Nanuq.
In a Sept. 16 TikTok post, Kate shared a photo—presumably of Aaden and Joel, both 21—as they knelt to kiss Meika in their mom’s kitchen. In onscreen text, she wrote that her kids “came home to say goodbye” before she began her trek.
In a subsequent picture, Kate showed off one of the two sons offering the black German Shepherd an extra sweet sendoff, sitting on the floor in a bedroom to give the pet an affectionate belly rub. (Kate also shares twins Mady and Cara, 24, as well as Alexis, Hannah, Leah and estranged son Collin, all 21, with Jon.)
“Tried to tell me they wouldn’t miss her,” Kate wrote over the image. “Suuuuurrreee.”
While Aaden and Joel appear to come and go from their family home, Kate’s relationship with Collin remains strained—a fact he has previously spoken about. In 2023, he accused her of driving a “social barrier” between him and his siblings, which appears to still be in place to this day.
“Unfortunately, I don't talk to my siblings,” Collin revealed during a TikTok Live broadcast in August, per People, “and I very much wish that we did and that they knew who I actually was because we don't know each other at all.”
Despite the family rift, Collin noted that he does keep up with one of his fellow sextuplets: his sister Hannah, who was the only other sibling to live with their dad as a minor.
“I actually just texted her today,” he continued. “She’s in college doing her thing. I always say, though, Hannah's just living the life, having fun, always doing something, so we catch up when we can.”
