The Korean skincare brand Good Light is beloved for its clean ingredients and effective formulas. Its newest product, the Strawberry Moon Grinding Cleansing Balm, is no exception. The balm-to-oil-to-milk cleanser is unlike any other cleansing product I’ve ever tried, effortlessly eliminating all traces of makeup, sunscreen, and any other impurities from your face.
The balm features a strawberry enzyme infusion, a super berry complex, skin-barrier-supportive ingredients like Rosehip oil, a subtle fragrance, and is made in accordance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards to be allergen-free (major win).

The packaging features a rotating top that releases just enough product for your cleansing needs: one turn for an everyday cleanse, two for sunscreen, and three for makeup.
I’m ashamed to admit that I was a makeup wipes girly. For my entire 28 years of life, I’ve used wipes to remove my makeup. Nothing else—no other cleanser that I’ve tried—measured up to the convenience of it. Any other method for removing my makeup left me with a total mess to clean up and way too much product wasted. It was hell trying to take my mascara off.
That’s why I’m proud to announce that Good Light’s cleansing balm officially won the war against wipes. It was shockingly easy to remove everything. Plus, it left my skin soft and clean—no traces of anything, unlike wipes that always leave some kind of film. The texture and scent were delicious, too.
The balm made the experience a true ritual that I looked forward to! And as someone who avoided putting on makeup because I hated removing so much, that’s a true feat.
