Blue Ivy Carter channeled her inner diva for her latest appearance.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 13-year-old daughter joined her grandmother Tina Knowles at the 2025 Angel Ball in New York City on Oct. 27. While Blue opted out of the red carpet, she dazzled for the cameras in a pink ensemble as she made her way inside the venue.
For the event, Blue donned a silk pink gown with a corset bodice and exaggerated feathered boa around her arms and accessorizing with a diamond necklace and earrings. As for her glam, the teen kept it natural with an overlined lip and nude pink lip gloss, which was the perfect match to her signature blonde boho braids.
Meanwhile, Tina, who was honored for her work to fund cancer research at the annual fundraiser, donned a sleeveless black gown with opera gloves and gave the world a look inside her date night with her granddaughter.
Alongside a selfie that sees Blue holding the camera while her Tina leans in close, the Matriarch author captioned the Oct. 27 Instagram post, “With my Beautiful Blue at the Angel Ball tonight.”
And though she wasn’t there, Beyoncé—who shares twins Rumi and Sir, 8, with Jay-Z—gushed about her mother’s big night, writing on Instagram alongside the same pic, “Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight.”
Tina—who privately battled breast cancer in 2024—gushed about supporting Blue during her run onstage alongside her mother at the Cowboy Carter Tour earlier this year, and how she motivates her to stay grounded.
“You have to be taught that. Kids don’t just learn that from just accident,” Tina said during the Oct. 27 episode of Sherri. “I have to say to them, ‘It’s more important to be a good person. And that you got to work for what you get. Nobody’s just gonna hand it to you because you are somebody’s daughter or because they like you. You have to work hard.’”
“And also, they know they will get jacked up, if they get the big head,” she quipped. “But their mother set them straight and don’t let them get away with that entitlement.”

"Two lips," Blue Ivy responded. "You get it? There's a kind of flower that's called a tulip."
