Two hot new bombshells just entered the villa—or rather, the TV studio.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos opted for a very timely couples costume for the Halloween episode of Live! With Kelly and Mark. And E! News can exclusively reveal their looks based on one of the summer’s biggest shows, Love Island, for their "Live’s Halloween Show: It’s Trending" episode, which airs Oct. 31.
Rather than going full vacation mode, though, Kelly and Mark kept it modest and opted for oversized T-shirts with a cartoon bikini and swim trunks, respectively, painted on the front.
They went all out on their hair, with Kelly sporting a volumized brunette wig and Mark’s styled into a Nic Vansteenberghe-inspired mop of curls. To complete the beachside vibes, the pair wore flip-flops and posed in front of an island background for a photo op.
The Peacock series personalities are an apt choice for the couple and hosting duo, as they have no problem sharing insight into their relationship with fans of their show.
After all, Kelly and Mark recently confessed that since their kids Michael Consuelos, 28, Lola Consuelos, 24 and Joaquin Consuelos, 22 have all fled their nest, they’ve taken to walking around their apartment naked.
“Your entire life becomes nudity in the household wherever you want,” Kelly, 55, joked during an episode of the couple’s daytime show in May, while the Riverdale alum added their home has turned into “a freakshow.”
However, the television stars admitted that their closeness on TV doesn’t exactly translate to them being attached at the hip à la the couples in the Love Island villa.
“We don’t really see each other very much, believe it or not,” Kelly told E! News in July. “It just seems that way because when you see us, we’re on TV together. But we’re not really that.”
Indeed, she noted that she and the 54-year-old live very “separate lives” off-air.
“We work together in the morning, and then we really have very separate schedules,” Kelly explained. “Our interests outside of our talk show in the morning are really quite different from each other.”
Of course, Halloween is an interest where the husband and wife—who tied the knot in 1996—align. Last year, they proved there’s no fighting the alchemy with their romance by dressing up as famed celebrity duo Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during their infamous visit to the US Open last summer.
And while both Kelly and Mark and Taylor and Travis are power couples, the Hope & Faith alum assured there was no way she could come for the Eras Tour performer’s job.
“Nobody gives less Taylor vibes than me," Kelly told USA Today of her previous costume. "I did my best to at least not embarrass her on behalf of both of us."
