Watch: Fergie's Rare Appearance With Ludacris at Atlanta Concert Is So Delicious

Fergie is flyin’ first class to Georgia.

The Black Eyed Peas alum was a surprise guest in Ludacris’ set at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on Oct. 26, and they reminded fans of their g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s musical chemistry.

“We Got FERGIE OUT THE F---IN HOUSE!” Ludacris (born Christian Brian Bridges) wrote on his Oct. 27 Instagram post, which sees him and Fergie, 50, performing their 2006 duet “Glamorous.” “ATLANTA WENT CRAZY! Love to my Sis.

During the show, the “Clumsy” singer (born Stacey Ann Ferguson) sang the track’s memorable chorus while Ludacris, 48, helped her down the stairs. The duo then shared a hug before the Word of Mouf rapper gave her a shoutout, telling the crowd that she hasn’t “performed in seven damn years.”

But that wasn’t the end of the nostalgia. To celebrate her comeback, Fergie—who shares son Axl, 12, with ex Josh Duhamel––performed another timeless hit from her The Dutchess album: “London Bridge.”

And true to her and Ludacris’ bond, she thanked him for welcoming her back to the stage.

“Loved being able to honor you,” she wrote in the post’s comments section, before praising the longevity of his iconic career. “Cheers to 25 years.”

Fergie’s latest outing comes eight years after she left Black Eyed Peas in June 2017. At the time, member will.I.am noted that she was focused on “working on her solo project” Double Dutchess, which she released three months after her departure. Then, the band—whom the “Fergalicious” singer worked with alongside members Apl.de.ap and Taboo since 2002—then offered more insight into her exit three years later.

“She’s focusing on being a mom,” will.I.am told Billboard in 2020. “That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her. It’s really the way Fergie designed it, so we’re respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don’t want anything but awesomeness for her.”

Indeed, Fergie has been making memories with Axl since she stepped away from the spotlight. In fact, she dedicated a sweet tribute to him on his 12th birthday earlier this fall.

“I am so proud to see how independent you’re becoming and what a kind human you are,” she captioned her Aug. 29 Instagram post, sharing several photos of her son from over the years. “Discovering everything you’re into and watching you grow brings such joy. I feel so lucky to be your mom.”
