Carly Rae Jepsen is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby With Husband Cole M.G.N

Carly Rae Jepsen announced that she is pregnant with her and husband Cole M.G.N.’s first baby, sharing the news just one month after they married in New York City.

Carly Rae Jepsen will soon be singing, “So, call me mommy.”

The “Call Me Maybe” singer announced that her and new husband Cole M.G.N.’s family is growing as they are expecting their first baby together.

Carly shared a slew of black and white photos to her Instagram Nov. 3 that showed the couple lounging on their bed as Cole (real name Cole Marsden Greif-Neill) gently cupped her belly. The 39-year-old captioned the photos, “Oh hi baby.”

Cole, 40, shared his own excitement about the upcoming addition to their family, adding three heart-eye emojis in the comments. 

The news comes just under one month after Carly and Cole tied the knot at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City on Oct. 4. The couple first met during a songwriting session in 2021, but didn’t start dating until the following year. They officially got engaged in September 2024, with Carly writing on Instagram at the time, “Very engaged over here.”

And when it came to their recent nuptials, Carly confessed that she and the music producer were surprised they didn't shed a tear during their ceremony.

“We were expecting to,” she admitted to Vogue in October. “But the energy was just light and joyful. Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream.”

The “I Really Like You” singer gushed, “Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.”

And Carly was also shocked by the fact that her wedding day was even more magical than she and Cole had imagined it could be.

“It was better than either one of our wildest dreams,” she said. “We felt connected through the whole thing, which was really important to us.”

And being musical people, the Grammy nominee explained that their reception playlist had a trick up its sleeve. 

“We even had a few special songs planted in the DJ’s setlist,” she explained, “so that, no matter where we were at the moment, when we heard those songs, we would come find each other.”
