Tori Spelling's Halloween season took an extra scary turn.
The 52-year-old shared that she contracted COVID-19 in mid-October, calling it the "most brutal illness" she's ever had and comparing her experience to an "exorcism."
"I went down hard. I got COVID and everyone's like, 'COVID, it's like a sniffle here and there. COVID-19,'" Tori said on the Nov. 4 episode of her misSPELLING podcast. "Well, COVID 2025 is next level."
Luckily, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum—who shares Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8, with ex Dean McDermott—confirmed that none of her kids got sick.
However, "I got it and it hit me so hard," Tori continued. "I was out, out, down, like bedridden, down for three weeks."

Tori said the virus caused what her doctor called the "nastiest sinus infection" she'd ever had and that she underwent three rounds of antibiotics amid her recovery. She also said she told her manager, "I feel like I'm having an exorcism."
"Exorcism," she added, "was the valid term for what was happening to my body."
Tori had felt so sick that she was unable to prepare for Halloween the way she had intended, which meant she could not take her kids to a pumpkin patch for the first time in years and also had to get costumes at the last minute.
"I just physically couldn’t go," the actress explained. "I couldn’t do it, to even go to the doctor. My son Liam had to drive in the car with me, just to be like, 'It’s OK, Mom, I got you.'"
As for how Tori is doing today? "I'm feeling stronger," she shared. "I'm feeling better, and the show must go on."

And it seems his crush on her character didn't fade.
"I always thought I was like, 'Are you just making that up to get with me?' But, no. At some point during one of our sessions, during sex, he said, 'Oh, my little Donna Martin,'" she recalled. "I might have giggled back like Donna."

Tori revealed the conversation she and Dean’s daughter Hattie had about the state of their marriage, in which their middle of five kids asked her mom, “Have you ever considered what it would be like to be with someone else and not dad and get treated right?”
"It got to the point where it was worse for the kids to see us together," she shared on an April 2025 episode of her MisSpelling podcast. "We could no longer hide what was happening, the fights."
Tori—who also shares kids Liam, Stella, Finn, and Beau with Dean—emphasized that Hattie’s observations had nothing to do with picking sides. After all, she insisted that her daughter “loves her dad."
"He was an addict going through a lot, and a lot of it was taken out on me and she saw that,” she added. “I didn't like the person I was, trying to raise strong humans and just taking it and taking it."

Tori wouldn't mind going down in infamy if her and Dean's 2009 sex tape had gotten released to the public. After all, she revealed that a friend of theirs who was staying at their house had taken the computer that had their video and tried to sell it online.
"They actually contacted us and said, 'We want to let you know we didn't accept it,'" she said of the porn site on an April 2025 episode of her MisSpelling podcast. "And I'm like, 'Why? Were my angles not good?'"
Looking back, the actress wouldn't have minded if the video had been released.
"I don't believe in regrets. I'm bummed I said no to Playboy and now at 51, I wish I'd been on the cover of f--king Playboy," she added. "I was doing it with my husband and we were together. I should have let that sex tape go out."

Tori and Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green's relationship went beyond the TV screen, despite the latter not remembering it all.
"I was like, 'Why are you always getting mad? Why are we always fighting?'" Tori recalled in a November 2024 episode of her MisSpelling podcast. "And you said, 'Have you ever thought that maybe I fight with you because I love you?'"
"It was like we were out of a John Hughes movie," she continued. "Then, you started kissing me in the middle of public, and I was like, 'Oh my god. There are people around and he's kissing me. This is crazy!' And then you were like, 'Do you want to get out of here?' and I was like, 'Yeah!'"
But Tori's retelling didn't seem to jog the Knots Landing actor's memory, who admitted, "I remember other times, but I do not remember that time at all. I don't know how that's possible."

Tori revealed that her pointed dynamic with brother Randy Spelling led to her "going bats--t crazy" and trying to stab him with a letter opener, although a rock was also on the table.

"We still had the sibling relationship, and we still had the fights, the fun times, all of it. There was the time I tried to stab you."
