Miles Teller Reveals the "Cheeseball" Move That Won Over Wife Keleigh Teller

Miles Teller was ready to fly with Keleigh Sperry Teller from the moment he met her.

The Top Gun: Maverick star shared rare insight into how he met his now-wife, revealing exactly what was going through his mind during the fateful 2013 outing.

"It was Grammys week in LA. We were both at this Black Keys party," Miles revealed on the Nov. 10 episode of SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live. "I just saw her and visually, I was like, 'Well, that's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.'"

"And I was very confident at that age. Very overconfident," the 38-year-old continued. "I hit on her and it I think it went OK. It went well enough. I went outside and I thought I bombed kind of my opening to her, and then I saw her come outside and like, look for me. I got back and then I started dancing with her."

And that's when Miles made his second big move.

"I tried to kiss her," he admitted, "and she's like, 'No, I just met you.' But I thought she gave me the look like, 'This is OK.'"

Despite the misunderstanding, Miles still asked Keleigh, 33, for her phone number and was shot down again—at first.

"She said no," the Eternity actor, who tied the knot with Keleigh in 2019, said. "But then I went outside after she left and like 30 minutes after she left, she was still waiting for her car valet. So I put my coat on her said, 'Oh, you look cold.' Which I thought was a cheeseball move. She liked that s--t. And then I got her number."

Now, more than 12 years later, the two are inseparable.

"If I'm not filming, I'm with her from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed," he said. "And even when I'm filming, she's on location with me. I never get sick of her."

Miles has previously recalled the lengths that he went to while trying to win over Keleigh's heart, and why it may just be one of his biggest achievements.

"When I first met her, she turned me down like three times in one night," the 38-year-old exclusively told E! News in February. "I would say the fact I kept coming back and trying to swoon her, I'll give myself a pat on the back for that."
