Francesca Scorsese Shares Intimate Look at Leonardo DiCaprio, Vittoria Ceretti at His Birthday Party 

Leo’s big night comes just a few months after he and Vittoria made a big step in their romance, attending the Met Gala—the Romeo and Juliet star’s first ever—in May side-by-side. And while the 51-year-old’s dating history is certainly stacked, he recently shared that he’s no longer interested in pursuing anything other than what feels real. 

“It creates a feeling like you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time,” he told Esquire last year, shortly after turning 50. “I can only imagine how the next few decades are going to progress. I look at my mother, for example, and she just says exactly what she thinks and wastes no time. She spends no time trying to fake it.”

Indeed, the One Battle After Another star emphasized that he doesn’t want to “waste” his time at this point in his life. 

“You have to just be much more upfront,” he considered. “It’s almost a responsibility because much more of your life is behind you than it is ahead of you.”

For Vittoria’s part, she also isn’t sweating what is behind her, especially where her romance with Leo is concerned. 

“If what you're experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there's no reason to be alarmed,” she explained to Vogue France in March. “Because love protects and gives confidence.”
