There’s a new group ready to make waves.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is headed to Bravo, and the drama looks to be just as intense as the other spinoffs thanks to the series’ recently announced cast—complete with two familiar faces.
Joining the ranks of onscreen housewives is Bachelor Nation alum Ashley Iaconetti. The 37-year-old is trading rose ceremonies for gossip sessions in the Ocean State after settling in the home state of husband Jared Haibon.
Another onscreen regular joining the cast as a friend-of for its initial season is Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania, who is offscreen pals with cast member Liz McGraw—owner and operator of the state’s largest and most successful cannabis dispensary.
The other new faces finishing off the series’ cast is Alicia Carmody, a Rhode Island native who owns a pizzeria with her fiancé of eight years, Rosie DiMare, a former local TV news anchor, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, a certified financial planner and wealth manager plus mom to two, former Miss Rhode Island and renowned makeup artist Kelsey Swanson, plus Jo-Ellen Tiberi, the self-proclaimed town gossip who juggles her career and life at home with her husband and three kids.
And while the cast seems innocuous enough, with a former pageant star and a number of moms, the series’ trailer promises the tension and drama will abound on the East Coast.
As one member of the cast says in a voiceover at the trailer’s open, “In Rhode Island, everyone knows everyone.”
"Welcome to Rhode Island, where nobody tells anybody the truth, and everybody just lies to each other’s faces and talks s--t behind their back,” Rosie tells the camera in a confessional, before quipping, “I love it here!”
In fact, rumors and whispered secrets look like they’ll play a big part in this season. Among the rumors teased in the trailer’s three minutes is someone’s husband meeting with a woman every morning when he says he’s at the gym, one of the cast allegedly having two boyfriends and someone’s podiatrist husband “doing more than rubbing feet.”
As Liz explains in a confessional, “It’s Rhode Island: When someone says something, we all hear it.”
After all, as Rose puts it, “Smallest state with the biggest attitude.”
While Bravo-holics will have to wait until 2026 to see all the drama unfold on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, there is plenty of TV to look forward to in 2025. Read on for exciting TV premiere dates.
