Kylie Kelce is playing zone defense about her kids' monikers.
The Not Gonna Lie podcast host didn't hold back when responding to a question about her and her husband Jason Kelce's daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 7 months.
“This next question appears to be pure rage bait. ‘What’s with the boy names?’” Kylie read during the Q&A portion of her Nov. 25 podcast episode. “I’ll tell you what’s with the boys' names. We—my husband and I—liked gender neutral names for our daughters.”
The 33-year-old went on to explain that the gender-neutral theme was initially unintentional, revealing that she and Jason had selected their eldest's name Wyatt "before we knew the gender of the baby."
“We decided we liked it as a boy or as a girl," she continued, clarifying that her second oldest doesn't even really go by a gender-neutral name. “Elliotte’s nickname is Ellie, so you can f--k off.”
Ultimately, Kylie is most annoyed that people are sharing their opinions on her children's names at all.
"I didn’t ask what you thought about my kids’ names," she said. "My husband and I agreed on the names. We like them. You, honestly, you should try naming a human being. It’s not easy.”
Indeed, Kylie previously provided an inside look at her and Jason's deliberations over what to name her youngest. In fact, before the couple—who tied the knot in 2018—landed on Finnley, they were considering naming their baby after Kate Hudson's character in a classic early aughts rom-com.
"How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favorite movies of all time, but absolutely my favorite rom-com," Kylie told Kate in the March 6 episode of Not Gonna Lie. "We've even considered Andie as a name for our fourth girl."
In the end, however, the former field hockey player is happy they circled back to Finnley. As she put it in a podcast episode shortly after her April birth, "She's very much a Finn. She's a cute little Finn.”
