The critics have cast their votes.
E! News, in partnership with the Critics Choice Association, can exclusively reveal the nominations for the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards, which will air live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on E! and USA Network Jan. 4.
During the nominations livestream Dec. 5, Keltie Knight and Erin Lim Rhodes revealed the nominees for TV categories such as Best Drama Series and Best Comedy Series. Plus, in the film categories, the hosts shared who nabbed recognition in the Best Picture and Best Actress categories.
The annual show will be the official kick off to award season and will see Chelsea Handler return as host for the fourth year in a row.
“Kicking off the year with the Critics Choice Awards feels right," Handler said when her gig was announced in November. "Nothing says ‘new beginnings’ like a room full of critics ready to tell you how you did last year.”
