Get ready for a major happening in the Kardashian family: Saint West is turning 10.
That may not qualify as a miracle, though it feels like only yesterday that Kim Kardashian's second child with Kanye West was born. But venturing into double digits is a milestone to celebrate in any case.
Of course, being Saint—or his siblings North West, 12, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6—means participating in more special-occasion activities on a regular basis than might be considered normal for a kid, but at the root of it all is a family that wants him to enjoy his childhood.
"I try to have my kids be as normal as possible and live in a neighborhood where they can ride bikes to their cousins’ houses,” Kim, who lives in the same gated community as sister Khloe Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner, told GQ in 2023. “I understand that it is not a normal life. We’re never going to have a normal family life no matter what. As a parent, I want to protect them as much as I can.”
And if she can lavish them with luxurious excursions along the way, so be it.
In August, Kim shared video from Saint's adorable reunion with his friend Josh aboard their private jet when he opened a compartment door—his mom's ruse was that there were snacks back there—and was delighted to see his pal's family would be joining him and his younger siblings, plus cousins True Thompson and Tatum Thompson, on their vacation to Cabo San Lucas.
"To the most amazing surprise trip for our children … reunited after 7 long months. We pulled it off!!!," Kim's friend (and Josh's mom) Charlotte Adams posted about the trip. "We had the best time and made so many amazing memories."
Meanwhile, it was going to be a tall order for Kim to top last year's getaway with her son, but she met the challenge.
“It’s pretty nutty that I travel the world for my kids’ interests, but it's fun," Kim told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in August 2024, fresh from a mother-son trip to Spain, where she and soccer super-fan Saint got a VIP tour of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid, and met some of the players. (Not to be confused with their July 2023 jaunt to Japan for Paris Saint-Germain vs. Al Nassr, complete with a Cristiano Ronaldo photo op.)
And if the 45-year-old should want to, say, couple up with a professional footballer, she already has an endorsement from at least one of her kids.
“Saint wants me to be with any basketball player or soccer player," noted Kim, who was married to NBA player Kris Humphries for 72 days in 2011, "and I’m like, ‘If you only knew.’”
