North West is letting people know they can’t tell her nothing.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 12-year-old daughter had a subtle clap back for critics who have an issue with her dermal finger piercing. In a Dec. 9 TikTok video shared on her and her mom’s joint account, North held up the camera while lip synching the popular sound that says, “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.”
Speaking directly to the trolls, North captioned the video, “this is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.”
Kim—who also shares kids Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kanye—has previously defended her daughter online after fans noticed the piercing (which extends through the skin on the top of her middle finger) in September.
In November, a TikTok user shared a video with overlaying text that read, “north west getting a finger piercing is breaking my heart just me?”
Kim quickly defended her daughter in the comments, writing, “it’s okay,” alongside a hand heart emoji.
And a month prior, the All’s Fair star addressed another TikToker who questioned North’s appearance when she debuted her fake septum piercing, fake face tattoos and blue contacts, replying, “This is such a non-issue.”
When it comes to her daughter expressing her creativity through her style, Kim previously shared that she is all for it, as it’s a symbol of her confidence.
“I'm like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kim told Alex Cooper on the Oct. 15 episode of Call Her Daddy. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
As for North, she made it clear that she doesn’t pay attention to anything the haters have to say.
“She'll be like, 'Mom, I saw this and I don't really care if someone says they don't like my blue hair, or my this or that,’” Kim said. “And she's really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn't be hanging out with those people.’”
