Apparently, not everyone wants Rihanna to shine bright like a diamond.
The Fenty founder attended pal Mariah Carey’s Here For It All Holiday Special concert at Dolby Live in Las Vegas Dec.13, where she sat elevated above the crowd to take in the performance. But while Mariah sang her iconic hit “We Belong Together,” Riri was asked by a nearby concertgoer to stop blocking her view, prompting the “Love on the Brain” singer to launch a few choice words in return.
In the fan-captured video, the Grammy winner sways to the R&B classic before blowing Mariah a kiss. Shortly after, she was asked by a fellow fan to lower down from her perched view in order to see better. The 37-year-old replied, “Oh, s--t!”
But not everyone seems to agree with the fan that asked Rihanna to get off her high horse, literally.
As the user captioned the video, “The audacity to yell at Rihanna to sit down while she’s fangirling over Mariah is wild.”
But Rihanna—who shares kids RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocki, 3 months, with A$AP Rocky—was clearly unbothered by the interaction, as she turned to look the fan in the eye before continuing to dance to the catchy tune.
And this isn’t the first time that the cosmetics mogul has made headlines with her hilarious reactions. Indeed, she had a witty response to a close-up angle of her face being used as a meme in a post about relationships.
“Women don’t realize how much their boyfriends love ‘bad’ photos of them,” meme account Fembase wrote on their Nov. 21 Instagram post, including a photo of the Anti singer from a low angle during her 2011 performance at the V Festival. “These images can feel more authentic and intimate than highly polished shots.”
And while many users found the post relatable, Rihanna couldn’t get past the unflattering photo. As she jokingly commented Nov. 25, “How I catch this stray tho?”
