Breathe New Life Into Old Foundation

When final bits of your favorite foundation cling to bottle walls, set it free. "Place the bottle of foundation in a warm cup of water for about two minutes," advised E! Style Collective member and YouTube beauty blogger Carly Cristman. "The product will fall away from the sides of the container. Next, squeeze a bit of your favorite moisturizer into the foundation bottle—the mixture will create tinted moisturizer."

Create Perfectly-Winged Eyeliner

Audrey Hepburn's winged liner looks as fresh today as it did in the '50s. But drawing a warble-free line that extends past the eye can be tough. To get the look in seconds, apply a piece of tape along the corner of the eye and use its edge to guide your line, advised Fabulatina blogger Nash Messina.

Extend the Wear of Foundation

"Whenever I have a longer day scheduled, I apply self tanner on my face before makeup," Cristman revealed. "The tanner will start to develop around the time of day that makeup and foundation begins to wear off. It's my secret trick to look freshly made up all day long."

Apply Mess-Free Mascara

"Place a business card behind the lashes, at the base of the lashline before applying mascara," offered Jake Bailey, makeup artist for celebs like Katy Perry. "It prevents makeup from tansferring onto the upper eyelids and gives a very dramatic effect with just one coat of mascara."

Makeshift Trick to Minimize Dark Spots

"To conceal the appearance of dark spots or scars, I apply a coral or orange-shaded eyeshadow or lipstick, then dab my concealer over it with my finger," said E! Style Collective member and iluvsarahii blogger Karen Gonzalez. "The orange tones cancel out dark undertones and evens skin tone."

Control Shine, No Matter Where You Are

Battling major shine from a hot and humid day? Try this fix from Gonzalez: "If I leave my powder or blot papers at home, I just find the nearest ladies room and grab a toilet seat cover," she said. "The crepe-thin paper acts as a blotter to remove excess oil."

Create a Just-Bitten Lip

Makeup artists may have clocked major time to give Blake Lively her just-bitten lip in The Age of Adeline, but you can replicate the look in seconds with celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow's quick technique: "Just make a kissy face and tap a stain on the centermost portion of the lips. After applying color, use your finger to blur the edges to the outer lip line," she said. Placing saturated color in the center of lips gives the look of having just eaten a cherry. It's very romantic."

Toss the Bulky Eyelash Curler

Eyelash curlers create too much bulk when packing a streamlined makeup bag. Ditch the clunky tool and use your digits instead, suggested Turnbow. "After applying a swipe of mascara, use the front side of your finger to push lashes up from the root while the product is still wet," she said. "Once mascara is dry, your lashes will appear more fanned, which will open the eye."
