Blindspot: Renewed

Jaimie Alexander's Jane Doe may not remember much, but you know she'll never forget that Blindspot was the first new series to receive a full-season order. And guess what? It was also the first series, new or returning, to be renewed for the 2016-17 TV season.

Grandfathered: Picked Up

After ordering six additional scripts, Fox finally gave John Stamos' charming sitcom a full-season pick-up. "Grandfathered had the Herculean task of self-starting on what is an incredibly competitive Tuesday night, and the series has proven itself up to the challenge," said Fox Entertainment president David Madden in a statement announcing the news.

Life in Pieces: Picked Up

CBS ordered a full-season of this slightly raunchy family sitcom starring Josh Brolin, Dianne Wiest, Colin Hanks and Betsy Brandt. "Life in Pieces, with one of the best ensemble casts on television, is telling terrific stories in a very unique way, and we're excited to tell many more of them this season," Glenn Geller, President of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement.

Truth Be Told: TBD

The truth hurts sometimes: The NBC sitcom's premiere attracted just 2.6 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating, leading the network to trim its episode order down to just 10.

The Grinder: Picked Up

Rob Lowe and Fred Savage's new sitcom is having its day in court...and it's a good one. Fox picked up the series for a full-season, with network president David Madden saying it's "the perfect combination of razor-sharp wit and relatable family dynamics."

Dr. Ken: Picked Up

A Friday time-slot isn't the greatest diagnosis a new series can receive from its network, but Ken Jeong's sitcom has found a solid fanbase. Its premiere was Friday's No. 1-rated scripted show, and its managed to hold onto most of its audience, so ABC wisely ordered a full-season.

Limitless: Picked Up

Stock on on the NZT because CBS has ordered a full-season of the Jake McDorman-led series, based on the movie starring Bradley Cooper, who is an EP.

Rosewood: Picked Up

Life is lookin' pretty good for Rosewood. Fox ordered a full-season of Morris Chesnut's procedural, with Fox boss David Madden saying, "The upcoming episodes are so compelling as we build out the family dynamics, and with today's order, we're excited to explore the world of Rosewood even further this season."

Quantico: Picked Up

YAS! Our favorite new drama of the season, which is led by breakout star Priyanka Chopra, received a full-season order from ABC after airing just three episodes. And it's easy to see why as Quantico is the No. 1 broadcast drama in adults 18-49.

Minority Report: TBD

While Fox has yet to officially cancel the TV adaptation of the hit film starring Tom Cruise, they've trimmed its episode order from 13 to 10. We wonder if the pre-cogs saw this one coming?

The Player: TBD

It's hard to be a player if you don't have any game? Though many expected the NBC drama to receive a ratings boost after The Blacklist premiered as its lead-in, The Player still dipped and is in danger of folding...especially after NBC cut its episode order down from 13 to nine.

Scream Queens: TBD

Despite lower-than-expected ratings (the premiere pulled in only 4 million viewers), Scream Queens has seen a sizable boost  in delayed viewing—80 percent—and remains one of the most tweeted about shows, with a markedly younger demo. Though it's hardly a lock at this point, Ryan Murphy has already pitched a broader second season to Fox that would feature a cast of all ages. And like Glee, this one might just take a little longer to catch on.

Blood & Oil: TBD

After a solid debut, B&O has dropped to just 3.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the demo with The Walking Dead now back in the mix. This oil boom may be shortlived, especially now that ABC has chopped the show's episode order to ten.

The Muppets: Picked Up

While the fuzzy gang has experienced a bit of a drop-off since its debut, The Muppets is still performing solidly for ABC and has continued to generate a lot of social buzz, thanks to its relationship drama (Team Miss Piggy or Team Kermit?) and celeb cameos. ABC ordered three more episodes, making season 16 episodes, ahead of a planned retooling with a new showrunner this spring.
