On Heidi Klum's Oscars gown, it was a classic case of one floral detail too many. Had the design been pared down a bit we think the model would have had more of an opportunity to shine through all that tulle.

When you choose something so timeless, making it fresh can be a challenge and the fabric of this dress actually did the opposite for her. Instead of it seeming new and exciting, the neutral detailing was a bit of a snore.

Kerry took an unexpectedly modern turn when she hit the red carpet tonight. The gown was a little contradicting with a piecey leather top screaming edge and flowing white skirt screaming the opposite.
Sophie Turner
The Game of Thrones actress wore this oh-so-'90s gown on the red carpet tonight and it, unfortunately, just fell a little flat. Although she looked stunning, the dress could have used a little more shape to keep things interesting.

Despite the color being perfect for her, it's the appliques and the harsh edges around the top and middle that just didn't do it for us.
