His wife Donna Brown Guillaume told the Associated Press that he passed away at the couple's home in Los Angeles due to complications of prostate cancer.

Best known for his roles in The Hairdresser's Husband, Ridicule and The Tall Blond Man With One Black Shoe, he last appeared onscreen in 2015's Floride, playing a man with Alzheimer's disease.
