The star geared up to play a super soldier in Edge of Tomorrow with the help of a diverse routine, including gymnastics, weight training, Krav Maga, sprint training and wearing a weight vest.

"I prepared as much as I could, and then the first day when I showed up and put the suit on, I just thought, 'Oh god I'm going to start crying,'" she told Entertainment Weekly at the time. "And then you get used to it, and it becomes like second nature."

The actress has put on Selene's signature bodysuit for five installments of Underworld, every time resorting to a six-day regimen of circuit training and "brutal" cardio.

"The thing I like about circuit training is that you're never doing one thing for very long," she told Shape. "You get to the point where you almost can't bear it, and it changes to something else."
