This Barbie just got a makeover.
Kim Kardashian recently kissed her brunette roots goodbye for something a little more trendy: A golden-blonde color. To show off her latest hair transformation, The Kardashians star channeled Barbie as Greta Gerwig's movie continues to dominate the box office.
Throwing it back to her old bathroom selfies, Kim debuted her new blonde 'do in a series of Instagram Stories on Aug. 3. In the clips, her hair was styled with a center part and slick-straight strands that hit her waist. As for her outfit? Barbie would've approved, as she donned a bright pink lace two-piece set from her SKIMS fashion line.
"You know I love pink and so does everyone else right now if you've seen the Barbie movie, which I am obsessed with," she shared in her Aug. 3 videos. "How cute is a Barbie moment with blonde hair."
She added, "God, I missed a little bathroom selfie action."
While the 42-year-old didn't share any additional details about her tresses, her go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton previously posted campaign images of her rocking the new look.
"Barbie season," he wrote July 23, alongside pics of Kim lifting weights while donning a white one-piece bathing suit and matching sky-high heels.
Interestingly enough, that same day Kim turned heads with her own Instagram post after she debuted a chin-grazing bob.
If anything, the SKKN founder's lob made her resemble big sister Kourtney Kardashian, who's signature style in recent years has been the short hairstyle.
"The sports bra is super cute," Kim cheekily posted at the time, "just like my new haircut."
