Bob Saget's wife is keeping his memory alive.
Kelly Rizzo marked the second anniversary of the actor's death on Jan. 9 with a touching Instagram post reflecting on their time together.
"Simultaneously feels like a week and an eternity," Rizzo wrote while re-sharing the final photo Saget posted on his Instagram, noting that it was one of the final texts he sent her.
"It perfectly encapsulates how he would want all of us to remember him," she shared. "With his guitar, on a stage, doing what he loved to do…making people laugh…making people happy."
The Eat Travel Rock host thanked the actor for being in her life for six years and giving her "endless memories and photos and videos with smiles, laughter, and yes…still tears."
Rizzo also took a moment to thank the fans who continue to show love and support for her late husband.
"Thank you for allowing me to still share Bob and thank you all for continuing to keep his memory alive," the 44-year-old added. "Once again, please do as Bob would do and hug your loved ones, hold them tight, and tell them over and over again that you love them."
Rizzo and Saget were married on Oct. 28, 2018 in a beachside wedding in Santa Monica, Calif. It was just two years later that the Full House actor unexpectedly passed away on Jan. 9, 2022 due to accidental head trauma. He was 65.
Rizzo is continuing to take it day by day as she grieves. "It's no secret that today is so much easier than six months ago," she shared with E! News in 2023, "and six months before that, and six months before that."
"Obviously, I'm a lot better now," the podcaster continued. "I just choose to wake up every day with a sense of massive gratitude for the time I had with him, instead of being, like, 'It's not fair. Why me?' You know, it is what it is."
The loss has also been felt deeply by Saget's Full House costars, who posted remembrances on social media following his death.
Dave Coulier shared a photo of the duo on Jan. 9 on the famed Full House house steps with the caption, "Bob was always hugging me. I sure miss those hugs. I sure miss Bob. I loved him so much."
His TV daughter Jodie Sweetin also posted a photo on Jan. 9 wearing a "Bob Saget" sweater, noting, "Still doesn't feel real. Thinking of Bob (and his daughters and Kelly and the rest of my FH fam) today."

Rizzo first met Saget met in early 2015 through a mutual friend.

More than two years after meeting Rizzo, Saget revealed he and Rizzo were engaged. He announced the news by posting a photo of the two at a restaurant with friends Katie Killean and Seinfeld producer George Shapiro, where his bride-to-be was seen wearing a diamond solitaire engagement ring.
"Love the people in this picture. The most loving and legendary @George_Shapiro Katie Killean & of course my gal Kelly," Saget wrote. "In case you're wondering, we were celebrating our engagement—and I know George and I will be very happy together."

The happy couple kicked off 2018 by dining al fresco on a beach in Waikiki, Hawaii, surrounded by fireworks in the sky.

Saget and Rizzo celebrated their two-year anniversary of being a couple. Rizzo took to Instagram to gush over her man.
"Two years with this guy today! The story goes...when he proposed he got on one knee & said ‘I Want to spend whatever years I have left with you,'" she wrote. "I made him rephrase it of course...But seriously- I can't wait to spend COUNTLESS years of [love and laughter] with you @bobsaget -Ok that's enough mushiness."

Rizzo took Saget to her dad's hometown in Sicily, Italy. The actor got a full helping of the Italian family when the couple did "rapid-fire" visits with Rizzo's cousins, whom did not speak one word of English.
"Seeing Bob be pinched and kissed and squeezed and fed more seafood and biscotti than you can imagine made me soooooo happy," Rizzo boasted on Instagram.
