Gigi Hadid took a page out of the golden linings playbook for her 2025 Met Gala look.
The model, 30, glittered in a Grecian-inspired gold Miu Miu halter dress at the annual fashion extravaganza May 5.
While it wasn't as obvious as some of the menswear-inspired looks in keeping with the evening's theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Gigi's custom gown is an homage to the ultra-glam 1920s- and '30s-era superstar chanteuse Josephine Baker. Stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson gets all the credit for putting the look together, complete with metallic accessories.
Gigi was first snapped leaving the Carlyle Hotel on her way to the gala benefit, the supermodel always one of the most hotly anticipated attendees on fashion's biggest night.
While she didn't bring along boyfriend Bradley Cooper—who was first linked to her in October 2023 when they were spotted having dinner with friends in NYC—the pair have been getting more and more public with their romance, going Instagram official earlier this month.
Last year, the couple turned the spotlight on their romance as they were seen packing on the PDA during a romantic dinner in March and taking in a performance of Sweeney Todd on Broadway.
But leave it to Gigi to keep the attention on the fashion at the Met Gala. After all, she has been a fixture on the Met steps after attending her first ball in 2015, rocking a red Diane von Furstenberg gown. She then stepped out in 2016 with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik—with whom she shares 4-year-old daughter Khai—in coordinating futuristic looks, hers from Tommy Hilfiger and his from Versace.
Bradley is no stranger to the Met Gala either, having chaired the 2014 event under the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" theme. Four years later, he turned the costume gala into a date night with his then-girlfriend Irina Shayk, with whom he shares daughter Lea, 7. The two—who ultimately split in 2019—are still on friendly terms and were even spotted chatting inside the Met at last year's gala.
