Kris Jenner is on the mend from a troubling health scare.
After undergoing a hysterectomy, the Kardashians star learned whether or not the tumor that doctors previously discovered on her ovary was cancerous.
"I just got a call this afternoon," Kris shared on the July 18 episode of her Hulu reality show, "that said the little tumor was benign."
The news was a relief to her boyfriend Corey Gamble, who replied, "Nice to hear."
However, Corey—who has been dating the momager since 2014—noted that Kris still had a long road to recovery ahead of her, quipping, "You can't hook up for two weeks."
Still, the 68-year-old was in good spirits, even joking that her nurse allowed her to indulge in a martini.
"I'm done with my surgery and I feel great," she said in a separate confessional. "I'm a bit swollen, I'm a bit sore—but good."
Kris initially planned to have her ovaries surgically removed when her medical team discovered a tumor on one of the organs. And after her doctor expressed further concerns for her health down the line, she opted to have her uterus removed as well to "not give anything a chance to grow anywhere."
"They found something, we're here to fix it," Kris—who is mom to Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner—explained on the July 11 episode of The Kardashians. "I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life."
But despite her pragmatic approach, Kris couldn't help but to "very sad" over the procedure.
"I'm very emotional about it, because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family," she shared in a separate confessional. "It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again and it's the other side of the process."
