The "Jenny From the Block" singer filed for divorce from husband Ben Affleck on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage, but listed their date of separation in court documents obtained by multiple outlets as nearly four months earlier.
So, where was she on the date of their actual breakup?
On April 26—the day J.Lo said she and Ben split—the Maid in Manhattan alum was seen stepping out of her New York City apartment.
For the outing, Jennifer kept it casual in an oversized beige sweater, baggy jeans and platform Ugg boots. She completed her laid-back look with hoop earrings, sunglasses and a black Birkin bag.
At the time, the 55-year-old was preparing to co-chair the 2024 Met Gala alongside Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Anna Wintour. Ben, 52, ended up not attending the prestigious fashion event, with his rep telling E! News that the actor could not make it due the filming of The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.
Since then, J.Lo sold her four-bedroom condo in the Big Apple, finalizing the deal for $23 million in July. In the same month, Ben closed escrow on his five-bedroom home in L.A. for $20.5 million.
As for their Beverly Hills mansion, the former couple's 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom estate—which they purchased together last year—is on the market for $68 million.
Neither have publicly commented on the divorce filing, which came after months of breakup speculation from the public. However, when J.Lo was asked to address her "situation" with Oscar winner at an Atlas press conference in May, the multi-hyphenate quipped to the reporter, "You know better than that."
This is the Hustlers star's fourth divorce, having been previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Meanwhile, Ben was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. The pair are co-parents to kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
