Travis Barker really is all about the small things when it comes to his kids.
The Blink-182 drummer’s habit of leaving his daughter Alabama Barker heartfelt video voicemail messages moved both her and her audience to tears. The 18-year-old shared a TikTok video compilation of Travis’ video messages, writing, “POV: your dad leaves FaceTime video mail everytime you miss his call.”
“My dad is my hero, i couldnt ask for a better man to be my father,” she captioned the Sept. 2 video—accompanied by an emotional audio track titled “Gods creation” by daniel.mp3—and added, “I cried making this he is my everything.”
In the videos, Travis—who is also father to son Rocky Thirteen, 10 months, with wife Kourtney Kardashian, as well as son Landon Barker, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana de la Hoya, 25, with ex Shanna Moakler—appeared in a pre-concert warm up and on a plane before takeoff to tell her how much she means to him, ending each message with an “I love you” accompanied with a kiss to camera.
The musician then drove the point home by commenting on the TikTok video, saying, “I love you to the moon and back.”
One user gushed about the gesture, commenting on the post, “This is the sweetest purest thing ever Alabama.” Another wrote, “I wanna cry this is so sweet.”
And this moment is not the first time the “All The Small Things” rocker has expressed his love for his eldest daughter.
"Happy Birthday my beautiful daughter," Travis wrote in a Dec. 24 Instagram post last year. "I can't believe my baby is 18 and all grown up. Being your Dad is the biggest joy in the world. May you be surrounded by love and all your favorite things today and forever! I’m so proud of you and I love you so much."
